Failure to Diagnose Breast Cancer

Merkel & Cocke, in collaboration with two other law firms, obtained a jury verdict in the total amount of $23,600,000 from a Shelby County, Tennessee jury against a doctor and her medical practice for the doctor’s negligence in failing to timely diagnose breast cancer in our client. At the time of the jury’s award, it was the highest medical malpractice verdict in Tennessee history.
